Awards System
There are three age levels under the Children’s University ‘Umbrella’.
For ages 5-8 years
For ages 9-13 years
The third age level, the Youth University for ages 14-19, will build on from the Kids’ College and the Children’s University once these initial levels have been firmly established in Mexico.
Students are awarded with ‘credits’ for their commitment and credits.
Community contribution.
For all awards, other than those of the Kid’s College a minimum 5% of the credit value for the Children’s University and 10% for the Youth University must be for community contribution. This may incorporate a service, performance or public contest/match.
Celebrating Achievments.
On completion of each module, the student will receive a Children’s University module certificate and the associated credits will be banked.
On completion of a Bronze, Silver or Gold award, students will receive a certificate listing all their activities. Bronze and Silver award presentations may be held at a Children’s University activity centre.
In the case of a Gold award, a special ceremony will be held in the presence of tutors, family and others.
