Graduation Ceremony 2010

Children’s University 2009/2010 closed last Tuesday with our annual graduation ceremony. All students came along to receive their certificate and gift from their teacher and to support their fellow students. There was also a raffle, with dozens of prizes donated by the project coordinators and families of Lancaster School. Some parents also received a certificate for the activities they have been involved in throughout the year.

We would like to congratulate all our students for their great achievements, and we look forward to seeing you in September.

Children’s University Open Day

On March 23rd, Children’s University opened it’s gates to the local community. Children and parents came along for the afternoon to try out all the different activities that we offer. There was chess, cricket, football, taekwando, climbing and also a science experiment involving giant bubbles!

Children’s University open days are open to all the community. We want as many children as possible to exprience all the opportunities available to them through our project and to register as regular members. Information about our next open day in the new academic year will be coming soon.
