The Children’s University functions thanks to the good will of the teachers, who are working for a symbolic payment that covers their transport costs. This situation cannot continue forever, therefore we need your help to ensure the future sustainability and expansion of the project. There are many ways in which you can help us ensure that these opportunities continue for the children of Mexico City.

If you would like your donation to go specifically to one of the items below please contact us and tell us how you would like the donation spent.

Whilst one off donations are very much appreciated and would be effectively used, by committing to a monthly donation scheme you will enable the project to create more effective and accurate long term financial plans. If you feel able to commit to this scheme please contact us at administration@childrensuniversitymexico.net to find out what benefits you will receive.

If you are a Mexican tax payer, we are able to write a receipt for the donation that is tax deductible. This option and the option of having your name registered on the site as a sponsor are available by contacting us.

Possible ways in which your donation could be spent.

MX$500 or £25 = Resources for ALL arts classes for a week.

MX$500 or £25 = Resources for Sports classes.

MX$500 or £25 = Monthly payment of installments for Musical Instrument purchases.

MX$ 1000 or £50 = 1 teacher’s wage for a month.

MX$ 4000 or £200 = 1 teacher’s wage for an entire module.

MX$ 10,000 £500 = Complete sponsorship of a 20 Credit module.

There are also a variety of other items that would benefit from sponsorship such as certificate ceremonies and special events e.g. The Children’s Day party.

Larger Investments 

If the Children’s University is to grow and realize its full potential we will also need significant capital investment. Such investment would allow us to increase our administrative capacity and develop essential staff training programmes, elements that will be required if we are to reach out to the millions of Mexican children who could benefit from this initiative. For this reason we are also keen to hear from companies and large scale donors who might be interested in supporting us or joining us in this important venture.
